Nadira Madugalla’s book, ‘Parlimenthuwe Balahathkaraya’ was launched yesterday (23) at the Presidential Secretariat under the patronage of Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and Secretary to the President Saman Ekanayake.
The 42nd National Information Technology Conference (NITC), themed “Catalyzing a Progressive Future: Towards Society 5.0,” the landmark event in the ICT sector is scheduled to take place from November 12th to 14th, 2024 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo. This multi-faceted business conference promises to be a hub of innovation and collaboration of the ICT Sector.
The High Commission of Sri Lanka in the United Kingdom in collaboration with the Association of Professional Sri Lankans in the UK (APSL) took part in the Bedford River Festival from 20-21 July 2024 by hosting a Sri Lanka Stand featuring Ceylon tea and handcrafts. This is the second time that the High Commission participated in the Bedford River Festival, which is held biannually and attracts over 250,000 visitors.
Export Performance in June 2024
July 24, 2024The Export Development Board (EDB) stated that as per the provisional data released by the Sri Lanka Customs, the merchandise export performance in June 2024 amounted to US$ 1,031.2 million, recorded an increase of 2.58 % compared to the month of June 2023.
