National Website for COVID -19 response
April 27, 2020The Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) in collaboration with key Government Institutionslaunched a National Website for COVID -19 response www.covid19.gov.lk.

April 27, 2020The returning group have been directed to a mandatory quarantine procedure upon landing. Addressing the daily media briefing of the National Operation Centre for the Prevention of Covid-19, Army Commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva said this group will undergo the quarantine procedure under the Army and Navy. The government intends to bring back more students from foreign universities.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
