Defence Secretary gives away new appointment letters to 31 Counselors
December 03, 2020Defence Secretary Maj. Gen. (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne gave away appointment letters to 31 officers as Assistant Counselors and Counselling Assistants at a brief ceremony held at the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB) at Rajagiriya, (December 02).

Annual Reports of all government institutions should be submitted within the stipulated time period – COPE
December 03, 2020The COPE Chairman, Prof. Charitha Herath, has informed all the Secretaries to the Ministries in writing that all government institutions should submit their Annual Reports to Parliament within the stipulated time period.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
News.lk publishes in three languages – Sinhala, Tamil and English.
