Commander of the Navy makes formal visit to North Central Naval Command
February 14, 2022Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne embarked on an official visit to the North Central Naval Command on 12th February 2022 and looked into the operational and administrative functions of the Command.
During an unannounced visit to the Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) Regimental Headquarters in Wehera (Feb 12), General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army took time off to gain a first-hand experience by inspecting and reviewing meal preparation procedures in the SLNG cook houses to ensure that the best of the best food quantities of high quality and nutritional standards are provided to soldiers.
