    It is vital for people to focus on a self-sufficient economic pattern which is unique to Sri Lanka, said Co-Cabinet Spokesman Minister Dr. Ramesh Pathirana.

    As per the powers vested in the President under the Constitution, the responsibility to ensure that the civilian life moves on without any hindrance has been bestowed with the Presidential Task Force established to combat COVID – 19 in Sri Lanka.

    On the directives of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, the public coordination unit of the Presidential Secretariat will be open 24 hours. The hotlines have been set up to lodge complaints on violations of government orders or any inconvenience to the public on telephone numbers 011-2354550/011-2354655.

    Sri Lanka Navy 26th March launched a programme to distribute dry rations to the community living in the island sector, Jaffna peninsula.
