“Park & Ride”: bus service to ease traffic congestion launched under President’s patronage
January 16, 2021The first phase of the Park & Ride bus service was inaugurated at the Makumbura Multimodal Transport Center, Kottawa (Jan. 15) in the presence of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa as a solution to the heavy traffic congestion surrounding Colombo city limits.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa says a new education system that will protect the dignity of labour and aimed at creating a skilled society will be introduced in the new normal environment.
His Excellency Gotabaya Rajapaksa the President and Commander-in- Chief of Armed Forces of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka appointed Rear Admiral Sumith Weerasinghe as the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy, with effect from 15th January 2021.
