The Consul General of Sri Lanka in the Republic of Cyprus M.H.M.N Bandara called on the newly appointed President of the House of Representatives Annita Demetriou 

The opening of 02 new Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants set up by Sri Lanka Navy was held under the patronage of the Governor Northern Province, Honorable Mrs. PSM Charles and with the attendance of Commander Northern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Priyantha Perera on 12th August 2021.

Sri Lanka Navy, pledging its continued support for the vaccination of general public with a view to curbing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, administered the Sinopharm vaccine to people at the Lighthouse premises on Chaithya Road Colombo (13th August 2021).
