Navy seizes narcotics suspected to be heroin valued over Rs. 4800 million in international waters
May 09, 2022A successful operation led by Sri Lanka Navy in coordination with the Police Narcotics Bureau in international waters south of Sri Lanka, led to the seizure of about 240kg of narcotics suspected to be heroin and apprehension of 07 foreign nationals, on 05th May 2022.
The Navy sprang into action to control a sudden fire in 03 textile shops on the ground floor of a two-storeyed building in Elakanda area, Wattala. (06th May 2022).
