To coincide with the Milad Un Nabi festival the Ministry of Posts, Postal services, and Muslim Affairs has taken steps to renovate the mosques in the Nuwareliya and Badulla districts. Recently at aceremony presided by Minister M.H. Abdul Haleem monies were given to renovate the mosques.
