Accordingly, Sri Lankan passengers who are departing for foreign employment are requested to obtain the registration from the SLBFE Head office or from island-wide SLBFE branches prior to arriving at the airport to avoid inconvenience.

Registration window of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) at the Bandaranaike International Airport will be temporarily closed from 1st January 2017 due to the closure of the airport for repairs.
