According to them, several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere, particularly Eastern and Uva provinces after 2.00 p.m.

Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
