Japan grants Rs. 13 Million for Two Livelihood Projects in Monaragala and Polonnaruwa |

 The Japanese government granted Rs. 10 million for an agricultural and livelihood project in Monaragala and Rs. 3 million for a health project in Polonnaruwa to improve the living standards of the people, a press release issue from the Japanese embassy stated.
These two projects will improve the living standards of 1,000 targeted families.
The two Grant Contracts were singed between Ambassador of Japan Kunio Takahashi, and Executive Director of Lower Uva Development Center L. H. Trilantha de Silva, and , Project Coordinator of Arunodaya Rural Development Federation ,Medirigiriya K.W.G. Wilson respectively today (12) at the Embassy of Japan in Colombo.(DK)
